3/6: CEMENT MAKING CLASS
Join Cementage for a cement making class on THURSDAY, MARCH 6TH @ 6-8P at Carolyn Lewis Designs Studio—where you can create your own handmade cement pieces! During this 2 hour spring themed class - you’ll learn about cement making, create 2 of your own cement pieces, and make memories with friends.
Make it a girls night, date night, or bring the family and co-workers out for a unique evening of creating.
CLASS INCLUDES:
Your host Molly, the owner/maker of Cementage will teach you the basics of cement making.
All your materials & tools (including gloves and aprons) will be provided
You’ll be able to make 2 cement creations - including:
1 small tray (square or round)
1 empty vessel (square or round) OR seasonal item
The seasonal option for Marchis a planter - we’ll add drainage holes to your vessel (or you can do a standard empty vessel or add-on a candle fill)
*PLEASE NOTE YOUR MOLD SELECTIONS AT CHECKOUT
After your pieces cure— unmolding, sanding and sealing of your pieces will be done for you. You’ll be contacted when ready for pickup.
You’ll get to sip on provided refreshments; water and sparkling water, BUT any alcoholic beverages are BYOB.
Private shopping at Carolyn Lewis Designs Studio + Gallery + a small selection of Cementage goods to shop in person as well. **Feel free to request products for me to bring to your class :)
Your parting favor includes a crystal of your choosing (select at class) + a 15% OFF coupon towards a future online purchase at cementage.com
You’ll receive a text or email when your cement creations are ready for pickup at Carolyn Lewis Designs or Urban Candle Co. They will all be bagged and labeled.
THINGS TO KNOW:
* Select your molds prior to class - make note at checkout
* Classes take 1.5-2 hours pending class size
* Dress casually - cement making can be messy.
* Cement creations take 24 hours to cure, and 72 hours to complete pending class size.
* Your creations will be available for pickup within 2-4 days of a scheduled class date. You will be updated when ready.
* If you select to get your vessel made into a candle it will be a $10 add-on. Candle fills can take up to 2 weeks to complete. Pickup and add-on payment will be at Urban Candle Co.
* You can bring snacks too OR add-on a Charcuterie board, S’mores board or Individual Lunchable by Across the Board to enjoy while you’re creating!

* This class is for ages 16 & up only

* NO refunds within 48 hours of class date, but can use towards a future class.
