Support our community of local businesses and makers at this annual street festival on Macklind Ave (between Devonshire & Nottingham) on Saturday, September 30th from 12-8P!!

Not only will the 5800 block of Macklind Ave have a vendor booth with our businesses - @carolynlewisdesigns @cementage @zoomiescafestl but you’ll also be able to shop additional local makers all on the north side of the festival (near Devonshire)! For the first time ever there will be a Makers Tent with 10 local makers!

Cementage and Urban Candle have been collaborating for a couple years now. Molly from Cementage creates handmade cement vessels, and Chris & Jim from Urban Candle make the vessels into scented candles. We’ve teamed up for these SOHA Pour Parties to let you select a cement vessel of your choice, and your own custom candle scent. Urban Candle has been doing candle parties for years, and I’m so excited to collaborate for this fun event!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

In this two hour event, Urban Candle will provide all the candle making supplies to craft your own custom scented soy candle. A selection of fragrance oils can be combined to create the perfect scented candle just for you! Cementage will provide a variety of cement vessels for you to choose from for your custom pour. We will help in guiding you in your custom candle creation while sipping on some drinks, and enjoying a s’more bar with Cementage tabletop fire pits.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• Your choice of 1 Cementage cement vessel

• Wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages (must be 21+ for alcohol bevs)

Macklind Business District's annual "Egg Crawl" is a "trick or treat" style event. Cementage, and participating businesses will have baskets of treat-filled eggs that patrons are welcome to. The eggs consist of candy which makes this a perfect family friendly event! No purchase is necessary for access to an egg, but hurry because eggs are limited per business! I’ll also have dog treats for the pups :)

The event will take place Saturday (April 8th) as early each respective participating business opens. Not only that but there will be TWO (2) Golden Eggs that can be found for a huge prize from us here at Macklind Business District!

Grab some witches brew and congregate with your fellow scream queens, woods witches, and ghoulish mortals around our event barn and pond. Bonfires will be lit all night long. Come dressed as your true self, set your intentions, cast a spell or just have a good time and bring in Samhain in style.
